Zinathi Harbour Boat

This boat is very popular for school groups visiting the Two Oceans Aquarium, as we offer a discounted rate for groups visiting the V&A Waterfront. The harbour tour is very informative as the tour includes Break Water; Seals on Wheels; Victoria & Alfred Basin and Port Control.

What Will You See

Zinathi runs 30-minute harbour trips, departing from the basin at Two Oceans Aquarium and touring attractions up to the breakwater. A cruise on Zinathi provides a fun guided tour of Cape Town’s working harbour including trips to see seals on wheels and the fishing fleets that make the harbour their home. Ideal for young children and school groups.

Office Hours:

Our bookings office is open from 9 – 5pm in winter months, and 9 – 7pm in the summer months. We are open 7 days a week.

Cruising Hours:

Scheduled trips run between 10am and the evening sunset cruise daily. The sunset cruise departure time varies with season, departing at 7pm in the height of summer, and 5pm on the shortest winter days.

Our hours are flexible for private charters – where guests can choose their own schedule and keep the party alive well after sunset.

Nearest Parking:

There is plenty of parking in and around the V&A Waterfront – the closest to us being the underground parking below the Victoria and Alfred mall.

Directions:

Yacoob Yachts offices are located at Shop 8, Quay 5, V&A Waterfront.

You will find us on Quay 5, nestled between Sevruga and Mozambik restaurants. Our flagship vessels, Tigresse and Jolly Roger are moored at Quay 5, and you will easily spot them if they are not out on a trip. Look out for the branded ticket boxes that stand on the Quayside in front of the boats moorings, here you can enquire or buy a ticket for the next trip. If you struggle to find us, there are plenty of helpful security guards as well as information stations in the V&A Waterfront that can direct you.
