Ameera Sailing Catamaran
Fondly named after the owner’s daughter, Ameera, our 40ft sailing catamaran is a smaller version of the Tigresse. She accommodates up to 38 passengers and is a popular choice for smaller corporate functions and yacht parties. Ideally suited to romantic sunset cruises accompanied by local sparkling wines taking in views of our beautiful coastline.
What Will You See
Prepare to be amazed by the panoramic views of Table Mountain and the stunning Cape coastline. Depending on your cruise route, you may also see Robben Island, Granger Bay, Bantry Bay, and Clifton.
Booking Information
A minimum of 10 passengers are required for a trip to depart, trips will be cancelled if we do not have this amount of full paying passengers. Passengers missing their cruise are not entitled to refunds or rescheduling of their tickets.
All children under the age of 12yrs are charged including babies. Please note that our rates are for the hiring of the vessel only and excludes any catering or beverages. You are more than welcome to arrange your own catering however all beverages must be purchased from the bar onboard the vessel.

Operating Hours
Office Hours:
Our bookings office is open from 9 – 5pm in winter months, and 9 – 7pm in the summer months. We are open 7 days a week.
Cruising Hours:
Scheduled trips run between 10am and the evening sunset cruise daily. The sunset cruise departure time varies with season, departing at 7pm in the height of summer, and 5pm on the shortest winter days.
Our hours are flexible for private charters, where guests can choose their own schedule and keep the party alive well after sunset.

There is plenty of parking in and around the V&A Waterfront – the closest to us being the underground parking below the Victoria and Alfred mall.

Yacoob Yachts offices are located at Shop 8, Quay 5, V&A Waterfront.
You will find us on Quay 5, nestled between Sevruga and Mozambik restaurants. Our flagship vessels, Tigresse and Jolly Roger are moored at Quay 5, and you will easily spot them if they are not out on a trip. Look out for the branded ticket boxes that stand on the Quayside in front of the boats moorings, here you can enquire or buy a ticket for the next trip.If you struggle to find us, there are plenty of helpful security guards as well as information stations in the V&A Waterfront that can direct you.
